What's going on at Kurrimine Beach Holiday Park

The Feast of the Three saints is held on the first Sunday in May. In over 50 years that this event has been celebrated it has never rained while the Three Saints are paraded through Silkwood streets. The Throwing of the Cross, a Greek Orthodox Church tradition,is set for the 12th day of Christmas (i.e. 6th January). Whoever retrieves the cross thrown at Kurrimine Beach is guaranteed good luck for the coming year. The Feast of the Senses is held in March in and around Innisfail with lots of goodies to tantalise the five senses with the treasures of the tropics. The Mission Beach Film Festival is held in each year in September in Mission Beach with inspirational films, discussions, workshops and events to entertain and inspire us to protect the natural world we live in. The Kurrimine Beach Fishing Classic is held annually on the first weekend of the September school holidays.
