For couples, the Acacia or Daintree Bungalows provide more open plan living, and shaded seating areas. For families, the Kuranda Bungalows which sleep 5, all these Bungalows have a well-appointed kitchen, dining space, air conditioning and own ensuite. The Barron Bungalows for a longer stay (7 night min) have all the same features but no ensuite. These Villas, Cottages, and Cabins are not pet friendly.

For a bit of true luxury, the Rainforest Retreat, sleeping up to six people, is the perfect choice with an elegant interior and comfortable living space, all surrounded by tropical trees and plants.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents are all welcome at the Lake Placid Rainforest Retreat. All of the sites, both powered and unpowered, are covered in grass and benefit from shady palms and trees. There are even a number of convenient ensuite sites offering more comfort and privacy. The caravan and camping sties are dog-friendly and there is also free wifi.

Guests enjoy floating in the lagoon-style swimming pool. There’s also a modern camp kitchen and onsite BBQs, as well as a kiosk and store for those last-minute needs or snacks.
