Tin Can Bay, named for the original Aboriginal name of Tuncanbar, is one of the best kept secrets on the Cooloola Coast in Queensland. Tin Can Bay, is calm and secluded, yet the area is teeming with fish and renowned for its vast range of eco-tourism activities.

Tin Can Bay Tourist Park is just minutes away from the Cooloola National Park, the Great Sandy Straits and World Heritage Fraser Island and 90 minutes from Hervey Bay with dolphin and whale watching, fishing, surfing, horse riding, and 4-wheel driving at its fingertips.

The park caters for caravanners and campers with generously sized sites, both powered and non-powered, including many with concrete slabs and some with ensuites.

Guests can also choose from Deluxe Studio and Deluxe 2- bedroom cabins , some sleeping 4 and others 6. These provide air-conditioning, spacious living and dining spaces, TV, kitchenette, linen and all the amenities you need for a stress-free stay. It has a new, well-equipped laundry, free WiFi and a store onsite.

Tin Can Bay Tourist Park also caters for guests who require additional assistance or have a wheelchair, with accessible cabins and easy wheelchair access to the swimming pool and other areas. The park will also take dogs on arrangement.
 
Known for its fabulous fishing, Tin Can Bay has a handy a boat ramp and BBQs and a brand-new camp kitchen to cook up the catch at the end of the day. The park is a tropical haven with a crystal blue heated swimming pool that the kids will love.
