Park Info
Stunning Myrtleford is an alpine getaway the whole family can enjoy.

Nestled on the edge of Mount Buffalo National Park, between the picturesque towns of Bright and Beechworth, visitors to Myrtleford have the Victorian high country at their fingertips.

Just two minute’s walk from the centre of town, Myrtleford Holiday Park is a high quality, affordable accommodation option in Myrtleford.

The park offers guests the choice of a range of cabin, caravan, motorhome and camping sites to suit all budgets.

Myrtleford Holiday Park is situated on picturesque grounds surrounded by beautiful big old deciduous trees.

The park features excellent facilities, including a lovely undercover alfresco BBQ and entertaining area, an onsite tennis court, a swimming pool and a playground, as well as dedicated camp fire spots.

The camp kitchen has everything you need for home cooked meals, and there is a tour desk on site with friendly staff happy to suggest some great day trips and visits to local attractions.

In terms of cabins, the ash and bluegum cabins are perfect for two to four people and are configured with a queen bed and a set of bunks, and the wattle cabins sleep six people and offer great value for money accommodation.

There’s also the premium range of peppermint cabins that provide spacious accommodation for up to six guests, with a queen bed in one bedroom and a second queen bed and a set of bunks in a second bedroom.  The snow gum cabins are also an excellent option sleeping four people comfortably.

For bigger travelling groups, the bunkhouse can sleep up to 19 people.  This part of the park is like its own separate village, perfect for larger groups wanting to spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere.

There are also ensuite sites and powered and unpowered sites for those with caravans or camping.  They’re all level and grassy, and close to the camping facilities, including the camp kitchen and bathrooms.

Outside the park, there’s a bowls club and town swimming pool right next door.  Myrtleford also has some lovely shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs to explore. The centre of town is only a two minute walk.

Originally known as Myrtle Creek, the town was founded by pioneer graziers, gold seekers, tobacco farmers and timber harvesters.  These days the tobacco farms have been replaced by wine grapes, hops, walnuts and chestnuts, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, apples, kiwifruit, olives, vegetables, beef and dairy cattle.  Locally grown fresh produce is readily available around Myrtleford, at farm gates and at the monthly Framers Market (fourth Sunday of every month), making Myrtleford a true treasure trove for food enthusiasts.
